Now for all you Disney junkies out there, I'm pretty sure you have seen ALL of the animated Disney films with classic unforgettable characters, rather it be the films by Ol' Walt himself, or the films the wonderful Disney Renaissance. However, have you ever noticed that it's only from the traditional-hand drawn animated films? What about the characters in films that have just come out, but are still made by Disney? And that's where this list comes in. To talk about new characters past and present that can really make and impact on the Walt Disney Company. But before we start this list, let's set some ground rules:

1. It can't be from Pixar. It must be more from Disney itself.
2. It can be from a Disney animated movie, an animated tv show, a live action movie, or heck, even a video game! 
3. IT CANNOT BE FROM ALL THOSE STUPID DISNEY CHANNEL SITCOMS!! (I'm looking at you Dog with a Blog!)
4. It MUST be from characters that debuted in the 2000s or 2010s.

Now with that settled, I give you the Top 10 Modern Disney Characters!

#10 Jack Sparrow - Pirates of the Caribbean films
 Being a eccentric pirate to start off this list is the one and only  swash-buckling rouge of a scalawag himself. Jack is be any means
your typical run of the mill wise-cracker of hero. Although he tends to kill people if he can, he has tendency to NOT kill people, thus making him a pacifist. He just might be one of the few most 3-dimensional live-action Disney characters. One of the reasons is that he's witty as he makes for a great trickster hero. I will admit that there are other characters alone like Hector Barbarossa, Elizabeth Swann, and Will Turner that are great POTC characters, but with Johnny Depp's great performance of the character, Captain Jack Sparrow gives out a whole new meaning to "a pirate's life for me!"

#9 Perry the Platypus/ Agent P - Phineas and Ferb
 Out of all the animated Disney television shows out there with characters that everyone will fall in love with, Perry has to be one of the most popular, if not the the absolute done right most popular character in all of Disney television animation medium. I was going to put Phineas and Ferb on list, but when I thought about who everyone would want to see the most from the show I decided to put Perry on the list mostly  because I thought he mostly represented Phineas and Ferb. Although he may seem like a so-called "mindless" domestic house pet, but he's actually quite intelligent, having a vast knowledge of martial arts fight moves and several different gadgets, vehicles, and other hi-tech inventions that help him fight the evil Dr. Doofenshmritz. And again, despite him being mild mannered, he has shown to care very much to those around him, to his family, even his to his evil arch nemesis Dr. Doofenshmritz. For example, in one episode, "Journey to the Center of Cadence", he called for the secret organization the O.W.C.A(the Organization Without A Cool Anagram) to have the doctor arrested, instead of leaving the silly fool to die, although they never show. This could also make him a pacifist. like that of Jack Sparrow. Another thing that makes him a great character is the fact that he is a platypus, and with so much likability with this guy, you wouldn't expect a platypus to be this awesome! With a catchy theme-song, a hilarious arch-enemy, a great array of allies and a family that loves him, Perry is Disney character you won't soon forget!
